It has been three years since I last posted. When I last posted, I had just become a mom and was struggling to find that balance between parenting and passion work. When I last posted, this was still called Steemit.
I've been fairly successful in making the transition to mom AND artist. These last few years, I've dived deep into exploring plant fibers and have continued to write regularly for Ply magazine and Spin-Off magazine. I'll also have an upcoming feature in Ashford's The Wheel. I've also been teaching at conferences around the midwest.
Since I've rediscovered my blog here, I'll likely continue to use it as an opportunity to write about fiber as I explore it, as well as tell tales about my clever toddler. Looking forward to rejoining the community.
