She hated her father and she was not too keen on her mother either. She loves her only brother, David and always spoiled him, even though the number of years between them is longer than a rope.
She is an influential lady, glamorous, rich, and generous. She would do anything to make others happy and she doesn’t joke with her friends, even though she seems not to have too many of them.
She is married to a handsome man, Ray but they are not with kids. She likes keeping her circle small, so she knows most people but only close to a few. She is none other than Tara.
Tara is a philanthropist and currently working on her reality TV show to celebrate her 50th birthday. When people see her, apart from her numerous goodness, the first thing that comes to mind would be “she is an angry woman”. She lashes out at will. She lashes out under little provocation. She doesn’t take too kindly when things are not going her way. She likes keeping to her time.
Most of her small circle of friends have been used to this angry part of her, so they just keep quiet but her husband has been the one feeling the brunt of this. Ray would prefer to stay up late at night before coming home, just to reduce the bickering at least and other times he won’t come home until early hours of the morning, to have his bath and change for work.
Not only is Ray doing this, he has taken another woman, Joke, under his wings. He is sexually involved with her, since his wife, Tara wouldn’t always make love to him. The wife suspected this and would feel insecure anytime she sees Ray speak to any lady.
Behind her seeming anger, you would see a lady broken, bent, and struggling. She wants to be better but she found herself sinking more and more. She has no one around her that she could fully trust, not even her husband. They have been like this for a while now and it doesn’t seem to get better anytime soon.
She stayed up in bed thinking about her once loved-up life with Ray. She wanted to go back to that life but something was holding her back. The more she tried, the more brick wall she sees and the more pain she feels in her heart with tear soaked face. Since her husband hardly comes home, she takes solace in her pillow. Her pillow absorbs her tears until she has no strength left and she slowly drifts into sleep.
