Chantal Barlow is a pale, bald and sweet painter from the seaside. Her life is going nowhere until she meets Jenny Sweet, a smart, scruffy woman with a passion for bird watching.
Chantal takes an instant disliking to Jenny and the clumsy and stupid ways she learnt during her years in the seaside.
