There we were, our bodies lying in tents dotting the mountain side. The sky was a stubborn midnight with bright orange red clouds fading into dark sinister clouds. We were together, we were alive.
You stayed in the other tent, perhaps with your eyes opened like mine. I was thinking about the many things we could do on the mountain side. We would start with running. Our legs would chase each other until we had gone far out of view from the tents.
From then on, my legs begin to squirmer as my thoughs begin to drip. I imagine you looking at me with those devil's eyes. There was always sin brewing when you looked at me. There was a time I would tell myself to look away. Those days are gone.
You would maintain your gaze on me while our legs hurried to close the space between us. It usually started with a kiss. A single innocent kiss that would breed another and another until our tongue begin to caress each other like waves tossed on a boisterous sea.
I wonder whose hands used to stray first. I think it's mine. You have the body of a god and my hands are such willing worshippers. They would rise and fall in adulation as they massaged the landscape of your torso.
I know who goes from the zippers first though. It's you. Always you. You would push my trousers down. Or my skirt. Or whatever stood in your way. Nothing ever stood in your way for so long. I remember when one of my shorts malfunctioned. I remember how you forced it open.
Open. That's the state of my legs as I think such sinful thoughts. I know they are wrong. We are family friends and should remain that way. But we both know we can't. Not since we caught our partners sleeping with each other that afternoon.
So here we are. Our bodies encamped in tents with our partners. They don't know we know about them, how they cheat on us. It's alright though. I've come to fall in love with you and you with me.
This retreat... We know what's going to happen soon under the midnight sun. After all, there's nothing new under the sun.
