The Thief Oxisa has been hired to steal the crown jewels of the Kordisce Kingdom. Only, the Kordisce has become a republic and the new government hopes to put those treasures in a museum. Oh well, so long as Oxisa’s fee is paid, she doesn’t care. Caring about politics is a great way for a thief to make a fatal mistake. -- Deathshead419
Everything is money, when you get down to the root of it. Power? Money. Property? Money. Even family is money to the right kind of people. Or wrong kind of people. I'm not paid enough to have say any opinion I have out loud. That sort of thing is money, too. Food and shelter are definitely money and I need to pay for both.
That's the only reason I did it. My client had a lot of money for me to steal the crown jewels of Kordisce.
No, I don't know their name. I'm not an idiot. They sent a message with a downpayment to my dropoff and the promise of the rest at their chosen dropoff. That's how it works. It's all about the money.
I did what I was paid to do. I'm not paid enough to care. That money pays for the equipment I use - permanent and expendable - and the aforementioned food and shelter. Care could cost my life, so it's a price tag beyond anyone's wallet. So don't bother trying to ask.
I risked my life enough to get into the royal vault. You assholes nearly caught me on the way out, too.
You can't pay me enough for me to tell you how I did it. Fuck you, I'm keeping my secrets. I don't keep anything written down. It's all in my head.
And as for where the jewels are now? Well. You're in luck. Asshole who paid me to get them didn't leave any money in their dropoff point. If you outbid them, you get them.
