Calling you from a payphone,
So I could pour my heart out.
The voicemail says you're not home,
I tell him what this is about.
My skin aches for another touch,
My heart doesn't beat as much,
My feet couldn't stay in one spot,
I'm trying to forget you, but I cannot.
It seemed never-ending, this misery and all
And it won't get any better unless you return my call
To be honest, I don't even know what's going on --
I thought we were having fun.
Then you walked away,
I was left there hanging with nothing to say.
Now here I am, crying out to a machine
I digress, I will love you until the sun turns green.
And I'm not giving you a choice,
Come back so we can make this right.
I'm running out of coins...
Are you coming home tonight?
