The rain during the night is silent to those who live hidden away in the depths of Cyberspace. Weather, time, and dates hold no boundaries; after all, they are simply the foundations to what some would call reality. Reality means nothing in a virtual world.
It's said that a life spent online is a life wasted. In this information age, I fundamentally disagree. A life spent slaving away to make capitalist pigs continuously fill their pockets with money they'll never be able to spend, for only a portion of the money you earned in return just so you can throw it back into the system through rent, taxation, and bills; that is modern-day slavery. A life truly wasted.
I think it is safe to say that most oppose of capitalism in one way or another, but this fucked up way of life is one that is forced upon us all. You can never truly avoid it. It works its way into your life like a cancer spreads throughout the body of an unfortunate one. I try my best to suppress that cancer, I live on funds provided to me by the government, courtesy of your average idiotic taxpayer, having successfully failing numerous mental evaluation tests. It's not the best way of life, but it sure beats the shit out of attempting to climb the societal ranks of a "good boy".
Like many of you, I spend my days and nights, my nights and days reaching into the depths of Cyberspace. I can't recall the last time I went outside, nor can I recall the last time I gazed into the eyes of another person. The truth is, Cyberspace is all I need, or so that's what I've come to believe. Surely there will be a time in the future in which all are connected to Cyberspace, and the facade of life will be replaced with purpose; through machine learning and the connection between us and computers. There's solace in knowing that Cyberspace will at first be our demise, but eventually our liberation.
