Another day, another Incredibles movie.

Actually that was planned, I was told I had to see the first one before we could go see the second one.

That being said, this past weekend I braved the long lines and saw one of the more popular movies of the weekend.

Surprisingly, or not surprisingly, it was a kids movie.

The Incredibles 2.

It took them 14 years to make this film after the first one was released but surprisingly (or not surprisingly) it was worth the wait.

In general it is very difficult to make a good sequel.

This was the exception.

It had something for everyone.

The kids enjoyed it, the adults laughed, the family had a good time out.

Overall, the story line wasn't all that different than the original which was slightly disappointing, but they still did it in a way that it wasn't entirely clear who the bad guy was right off the bat.

Overall, I would recommend this film if you get the chance to see it.

It's even worth seeing in the theater if you can, just maybe go before 4 pm so you get that reduced rate. :)

I give the film an 8.5 out of 10 rating.

Go see it, and take the kids.
