Tilly, a young girl who is afraid of the dark, seeks comfort by sucking her thumb. But her wicked stepmother won't allow it. Caning the innocent girl doesn't stop Tilly from sucking her thumb so her stepmother decides to put a curse on her.
She calls for the evil, goblin like creature "suckablood" to come and slaughter her daughter if she sucks her thumb again.
Poor Tilly, after being caned and cursed and with no food being given is sent straight to bed.
She slowly walks up the many stairs to her huge, cold and empty room. Lying in bed feeling lonely and and scared, she decides to suck on her fingers instead of her thumb...
Will she become another victim of the deadly Suckablood or will she live to fight another day?
