Third part of the saga started with science fiction film Pitch Black again features Vin Diesel in the role of space criminal and antihero Riddick. Following the events in Chronicles of Riddick plot begins with Riddick abandoning his position of Lord Marshall of Necromonger Fleet, and instead ends up as castaway on isolated planet where he must survive in struggle with hostile and dangerous fauna. In order to find way back to civilisation, he signals his presence to bounty hunters, hoping to use their ships for transport. Directed by David Twohy, Riddick in many ways follows the atmosphere and the plot of Pitch Black, while it is divided in two significantly different parts. First part, which shows Riddick's survival and doesn't feature any dialogue is really impressive and much better than the second, in which dislikable mercenaries suffer rather predictable fate and in which Jordi Molla delivers terrible overacting.
