Hello you steemy lot!
One of my passions in life is 'Film'; Watching it, creating it, studying it, researching it, shit, everything about it, I just love it!
'Happy Number 6' was my first 'Proper' attempt at making a short film, and I'd like a few opinions from my steem family. Please be honest, (but not too harsh ;) bear in mind that I had practically zero budget, and I had to act in the film myself. I don't profess to be an actor, so please don't judge that. It does have dark content, and the subject matter is quite deep. I created this film to try and raise awareness for mental health, but these days it's so hard to get your stuff out there. However, I did kind of achieve my goal. A teacher from Plymouth shows it in some of his lectures, he said it's a very good portrayal of schizophrenia, so at least it's helped a little bit.
It's a little bit long winded (inexperience) but stick with it, the end is my favourite bit. Enjoy (Hopefully)
