Faithe Herman (This Is Us) is rumoured to have joined the film project Shazam! from DC and Warner Bros. But according to Comicbook reports the character will be played by the studio, although he will certainly play one of Billy Batson's best friends, Herman will join Zachary Levi who will play the superhero Asher Angel as Billy Batson, Grace Fulton as Mary Marvel, Jack Dylan Grazer as Freddy Freedman, Cooper Andrews, Ian Chen as Eugene, Jovan Armand as Pedro and Mark Strong as Doctor Sivana. 

David F. Sandberg (Lights Out) will direct the film with a script written by Henry Gayden and Darren Lemke. The production process of this project is expected to start immediately at the beginning of next year at Pinewood Studios Toronto, So far, the plots and details of the Shazam project! still closed tightly by Warner Bros. and New Line Cinema. But some confirmed facts are that the movie Shazam! will not present Black Adam (Dwayne Johnson) as his main villain, Shazam! will be released in April 2019.
