Ant-Man & The Wasp
In the Second Installment for Ant-Man and his badass sidekick, The Wasp, we are going to endure another trippy movie. Paul Rudd and Evageline Lily, along with Michael Douglass and Michael Pena, will be starring in this movie. For the 20th movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, we are going to get a movie that connects directly to Avengers 4.
Prediction
Reports have Ant-Man & The Wasp raking in as low as $80 million and as high as $105 million for it's first weekend in the US. That would be a jump of about 55% from the first Ant-Man film, which opened at $57.2 million. I can easily see this movie open at $90+
The First Purge 🇺🇸
Here we go again with another Purge movie, but I will say that these slasher movies have gotten better throughout the franchise. In its 4th attempt to create a truly memorable slasher film, Marisa Tomei will take the healm and try to drive box office results. Since the patriotism flows through this movie like the blood flows through our veins, it has a 5-day opening weekend thanks to the Fourth of July landing on a Wednesday.
Prediction
Opening in at a franchise high of 3,031 locations, estimates are having their 5- day total at $36-40 million. 3-day total comes in at $22 million.
