With Hollywood lacking female leading action films it is not uncommon to see reboots or rehash with an all female cast (Ghostbusters) It's time to take a more serious approach with an action heist like Ocean's 8. The film is still linked to 2001 Ocean's Eleven, Matt Damon recurring role as Linus Caldwell and Danny Ocean (George Clooney) having a con sister as the main character; Debbie Ocean played by Sandra Bullock. Not only is it an all female cast but it's top caliber actresses with Oscars on their mantel. The cast includes Sandra Bullock, Cate Blanchett, Anne Hathaway, Mindy Kaling, Sarah Paulson, Awkwafina, with Rihanna and Helena Bonham Carter. Ocean's 8 is directed by Gary Ross and will be released June 8, 2018.
I liked the trailer as it includes everything I loved about the previous films, I will be there opening night. What do you think?
