I went out with my new GH5 camera for the first time yesterday afternoon (I’ve had it for over a week 🙄).
I finally got time to pop out and shoot some video and put it through it’s paces.
I’m cutting together a little video of my shots.
This very little test-shoot on this camera will be a good warm-up to some STEEM related promo videos I’m planning on shooting on the GH5 in the near future.
(For now, you’ll have to make do with some overly moody shots, of which I will upload in video form later today) (Sorry for the mood)
This also might be my first proper opportunity to try out the video platform too, if I can log in properly this time.
I’ve been meaning to give a whirl since launch a long while ago.
The reason I’ve not used the video platform yet is because I’m not really a content creator and I rarely produce videos of my own, with me or my subjects being the focus.
I always shoot private work for clients.
Also I’ve not got a particularly large following, and there’s no history of being censored or banned. I certainly don’t have anything controversial to say.
Plus, I’ve also not been so sure I’m keen on some of my more questionable quality of work to be available ‘FOREVER’ in an immutable blockchain.. so I’ve just been sitting back a bit.
A lot of my stuff is shot directly for paying clients - so I’m not sure they would be keen on my uploading my back catalogue of work I’ve done for them.
Although, I do share existing video work that already exists on YouTube via the nifty dTube share-any-video-link facility.
I like that.
Anyway, maybe this could be a fun first video to try out the platform with?
Cheers for reading, check out my silly video later :)
