I was told this valley used to be nothing but pears, as far as you could see.

While I was shooting these images about 500 trees were being ripped out across the road by the new land owner who needs agricultural zoned land to process cannabis.

I can't help but think that ripping out fruit producing trees for a possible debt financed sale might not be that great of an idea, but I might have a different view of current market valuations and some serious pear bias.
