Let's say this right out of the gate. As a person, i do NOT like Amy Schumer. I think that when a celebrity uses their fame (and Daddy's connections to become famous in the first place) in order to lecture us common people about how we live our lives - which she does on a regular basis but has recently stepped back from - I tend to not like them. That being said, I enjoyed this movie and can recommend it.
So the story is not so original, i think: "Amy" (Amy Schumer) is told by her parents at a young age that marriage or monogamy is unrealistic and i suppose the story is that she is traumatized by that because she is sleeping around and parties all the time in her 30's. As someone who has seen many people including himself in his 30's I can say that this is already a very realistic representation of real life. I don't know if you are aware of this, but not getting married and being someone who goes to bars and flirts with random strangers is something that most people do well into their 30's, if not beyond.
Amy is trying as hard as she can to not fall in love with a guy who is genuinely awesome because she is hooked on her life of freedom and I think that this, is also very realistic as far as real life is concerned.

This person named Aaron (bonus points for knowing about A-Aron) is wonderfully played by Bill Hader, who normally doesn't see much action as far as serious roles are concerned and normally is just comic relief background noise... he is consequently a big part of the reason why I liked this film. Their love story is great but there is another reason to love this movie even more and his name is John Cena.

That's right, John Cena is in this movie (although only briefly.) The moments that he is in the movie which is probably like 3 minutes max, are just amazing. His lines are something that I quote to my friends on a regular basis and I am surprised that he hasn't had more films come out as a result. I think it might be because they were actually making a parody of who he is, rather than focusing on him. Normally he is in poorly-produced action films that bomb, but seriously, if you need a reason to watch this film... Cena is the reason.
Lebron James is acting in this also and I am surprised that he is actually very good on camera also. But for me, and any other WWE fan, the little bit of the movie that Cena is involved in, is the only reason you need to see this movie. It is a romcom but I actually laugh a lot (despite really not liking Amy Schumer) every time i see this movie. You may wish to check it out.
