31.01.2021
The finance minister is going to present the budget for the fiscal year 2021-22 from next month. Now experts are commenting on the funding in various sectors. Based on that source, their statement is that in the forthcoming central budget, the amount of allocation should be increased.
They have given more importance to the fiscal deficit in giving their views on various issues because only then will the economy recover. In this context, the economist said that the amount of expenditure may increase a lot in the fiscal year 2021-22.
As a result, it is estimated that the allocation may increase by up to 14%. Here economists have raised the issue of K-shaped recovery. In this regard, Namula's chief economist said that fiscal support is essential for the recovery of the economy.
The reason, he said, is that the tourism and unprotected sectors, ranging from MSMEs, are still in a shambles. Therefore, Fiscal Support is an urgent issue in case of these problems and to solve this problem we have to take up employment growth projects in rural areas.
In this context, the Prime Minister presented several projects like Village Road Scheme, Prime Minister's Housing Scheme etc. to the members of the 14th Finance Commission. He also said that in order to solve this situation, two steps have to be taken now, one of which is income support and the other is infrastructure spending.
At present, the total expenditure in the fiscal year was Rs 30.42 lakh crore, but in the Corona situation, that expenditure may increase. So with all of these things in mind, they can increase funding. Earlier, the fiscal deficit was 3.5% of GDP, but now it is expected to increase to 6.5-7% of GDP.
At the same time, the allocation of income may increase to 35 lakh crore rupees. However, all this is now dependent on the entire government, so nothing is understood until the month of February, so now it is a matter of waiting for 1 day.
