GIRL IN THE LIGHT
Hello dear friends,
This is my drawing of a girl in the light, and it's made in a short time with chalk on velvet paper.
I have chosen a black model for this work because the light reflects differently on the dark skin: we have a wider range of colors like from brown to purple, and from ochre to blue.....
Around her there is a very strong but cold light like an ice aureole, it is the winter sunlight.
The girl has her eyes closed because she is enjoying these rare intense rays in the cold season, and is finding her inner peace.
That's what I wish you too during these festive days: to find your inner peace!

RAGAZZA NELLA LUCE
Ciao cari amici,
questo mio disegno raffigura una ragazza nella luce, ed è eseguito in poco tempo a gessetto su carta vellutata.
Ho scelto apposta per quest'opera una modella di colore perchè la luce riflette in modo diverso sulla pelle scura : abbiamo una gamma di colori più vasta che va dal marrone al viola, e dall'ocra al celeste....
Attorno a lei vi è una luce molto forte ma fredda come un' aureola di ghiaccio, è la luce del sole invernale.
La ragazza ha gli occhi chiusi perchè sta godendo questi intensi raggi rari nella stagione fredda, e sta trovando la sua pace interiore.
Ecco cosa auguro anche a voi in questi giorni di feste : di trovare la vostra pace interiore !
