Happy Freakin' Monday Steemit!
asked for this song, which I was excited to learn.
It was written sometime in the 1850's.
This is a song that I've heard literally hundreds of times at the pubs, but have never played before.
As it turns out, the song is amazingly fun to sing.
"A row and a ruction soon began" and "Trotters shake" are some of the funnest things to say.
The very end comes from a local band in Minneapolis that stained my brain with their version.
I literally can't play it without doing the 'shave and a haircut' part, but it's funny so there it is.
Happy April:D
