I was a really good Network Administrator / Security Specialist for the last 27 years and then I lost my job because of the companies move to a fast food service style M.S.P. which ended up in the companies downfall from 41 clients down to 14. While I was good at my job I wasn't willing to go back to the thankless job so I started researching my options for an at home style job. I found a few things but nothing seemed to be worth the time vs effort to make a simple living let alone to voice my thoughts and share with the world the maze of technology driven thoughts which cloud my everyday life process. Then I found Steemit.com and I have to say, I'm blown away at the level of intellectual community meshed with the tech geeks and probably a lot of hackers within this community as well. At least my hacker radar keeps ringing from posts I've read. I hope that I can fit in with this great community and I hope that I can contribute on the same level as the rest. Thank you for reading my first post, I hope it's the first of many more to come.
