One thing I love about fishing is that you will sometimes find a surprise on the other end of your line when you least expect it.
This was the case here when I caught this Razorback Sucker (at least that is the species I believe it is after research!):
As you can see, it is quite a large fish, and was the first time I had ever caught one. I was fishing for striped bass when this sucker ate my anchovy. I snapped a few pictures, and released the fish unharmed.
It was a fun experience to catch one of these, and I hope that I can catch another one in the future. I had no idea what was on the other end of my line at the time, so brining this in was a pleasant surprise!
