I wasn't able to go fishing until quite late last night. I only had 45 mins to fish before having to get home, as well as the fact the sun had set. This is not a lake to fish at night, as so many places to get snagged.
All I caught was this Notched mouth chub, also known as a Three-lipped chub.
I love these little fish, they have so much energy and unlike many fight until the end. I always make sure I hold them in the water until they are fully recovered before letting them swim off. This particular one fought so hard I thought it might have been a small bass.
Hopefully I can find the time to have a longer fishing trip tomorrow. After that likely will be busy for a few days.
