Decided to meet up with my buddy Kit aka Hive account@bayareabutcher at the Rod and Reel Pier on Anna Maria Island for some summertime fishing. A tropical depression just came threw a few days ago so the water was churned up and the sandperch were hard to find. We made due with some fingermullet and pinfish. All the redfish were caught using 20 braid, 20 florocarbon and a jighead. The snook ate a large sandperch that I caught using a small piece of shrimp on the backside of the pier.
