While having a free time onboard i spend it for fishing it is our stress reliever, catching different kinds of fish is very interesting for me anyway not only fish squids us will. I catch different kind of fish already big and small such as lapu- lapu, galonggong, red snapper, blue marlins, tanguege and in our tagalog version of matang baka, talaquito.
Catching fish is not just for fun but it give big benefits for us that we can eat a very fresh fish
And squid as a seafood lover i always do cooking spacially the squid.

Eating fresh food onboard is not common because our food mostly in frozen and not fresh. Thats why if we have free time when at anchorage we do fishing..
And some of the fish we've catch we made it dried fish as a pilipino we really love dried fish this dried fish is not common onboard the ship special we sail with european people they really hate the smell when it cooked. And they avoid to order it in our food provision thats why we do our own dried fish.
This our catch goes dried.
