Hey what's up everyone?
In today's post I want to suggest a little thing that could make all the difference with your fitness & health goals.
If you are having a hard time sticking to a workout routine or routinely getting enough physical activity I have a tip for you:
PLAN the workout / activity with a friend or a group at a specific time on a specific day and don't allow yourself to cancel the date for any reasons other than serious things.
This way, you're way more likely to show up because you will not only let yourself down, but also other people and their trust in you when you don't show up.
Personal example: I always organize group workouts on Friday 6-7pm for friends and anyone that is interested in attending in Vienna. If I don't create an facebook event before and invite them for the workout, it's not happening and some people miss their weekly dosis fitness. Because I don't want to let people down and continuing to grow our workouts I feel obligated to show up every Friday from 6-7 no matter what my motivation levels are.
I feel great after every workout, walk home with a smile and sure enough, I go home already thinking about the next Friday and how great it's going to be again.
Do i always feel motivated to schedule the event and organize it? No, but that doesn't matter because it's important to me and i don't want to let other people down :)
