The ideas here are self contradictory. She says you don't need protein because you get enough from fruit and veggies. Um... Enough of something you don't need? Also, there are no pictures of muscular humans here, which I assume is what species most readers of this blog will be.
You absolutely need protein not only to build muscle, but just to live. Veganism may be an ideal way to eat, butt it's not cheap, and it's not easy to get all the nutrients you need. This is why very few athletes eat this way. Meat is a much easier way to get many nutrients, and for some of us, the only affordable option.
Anyone who wants to donate to my grocery bill to help me change to veganism it s welcome, I'll give it a shot.
As for the moral argument, that's just your opinion. There's lots of animals that would be extinct by now if not for human agriculture. Should we let the cows, chickens, and pigs free to fend for themselves? Do you have any idea what that would do to the ecosystem?
