White-breasted Nuthatch from December 23rd, 2016

I don't recall what the temperature was two years ago today... okay, hang on a sec... I'm typing into Google... so, on Friday December 23rd 2016, it was sunny, with light winds, and temps in the low to mid 30s (around 1C). So yeah - much like today.

On that day two years ago, this little White-breasted Nuthatch was very happy to see the sun, especially after the snowstorm from the day before (which I can remember thanks to the snowy Blue Jay pictures I posted yesterday...lol). There's just something about their stance that always seems so sassy and cute!
