Today I had a practical lesson.
I had to make a 'plukboeket' <- dutch word for it :D it is some sort of a bouquet.
And I had to make a 'biedermeier' <dutch word for it :D it is some scale work.
My teacher was realy proud of my work, and me too.
You make a bouquet by means of 'korenschoof binden' it is that you bind the stems of the flowers in one direction, so if you are right handed you bind the stems to the right, and if you are left handed you bind the stems of the flowers to the left.
I'm right handed so i had to bind the stems to the right , and you can see that to in the picture :).
You make a 'biedermeier'(scale work) with round flowers so you can make the whole round, that's very important because if it's not than is not a 'biedermeier' you can also see in the other picture that my 'biedermeier is perfectly round.
I hope you enjoyed my explanation :D Feel free to ask more if you like ;)
