Aaron's Rod is an annual plant with deep blue stalkless flowers attached to a long, narrow spikes. What seems like a useless weed is an eccentric herb. I haven't heard of this plant used as herbal remedy. I can't say that I was that surprised, but it was more than what I'd thought of those cute little flowers. The extracted juice from the crushed leaves for instance can be applied externally to cure ulcers and used over the eyes for general opthalmic problems.
