Begonia in October

Begonia includes about 1600 species.
Begonia is named after the governor of Haiti, Michel Begon (1638-1710).
It was Michel Begone - a flower lover, helped botany Charles Plumiere to organize an expedition to the West Indies, where Charles Plumer discovered the first 6 types of begonia.
Types of begonias are decorative leafy and decorative flowering.
