Here in Missoula, MT we are finally having Spring! The mountains are green, the aspen and cottonwood fluff is in the air, and we have flowers!
See the fluff! Quaking Aspens and Cottonwood trees make for a Springtime Snow!
And the Lilacs are making the yard smell beautiful!
They come in White-
And Lilac-
One Iris is out, this one smells like Grape Soda! The rest should be blooming by Friday.
There was a bit of a thunderstorm brewing in the Sapphire Mountains on the far side of our valley. We could just hear the clouds grumbling as the hubby prepared to mow the lawn.
We spent the evening doing yard work, hoping that the yard will survive until next week as we will be busy with our local Sci-fi and gaming convention for the whole weekend. Check it out if you are at all Geeky!

And for the last picture today, a peek at Lolo Peak, just 10 miles away but another 5900 ft UP hill. Fyi- we are at 3200 ft elevation at our house! For those who measure in meters, Lolo Peak is 2,787 m. It is the snowcapped peak on the right side of the picture, almost hidden by the closer ridge.
