Every year the first flowers in my area bloom the brightest yellow, making green envious of the pure energy the color invokes.
This is really early for the blossoms to be popping their little heads up for the new year. A warm wind has started spring and it can't go back, I am still hopeful we will have some more rain because we are as dry as late fall presently.
I took these pictures on my morning walk. Everything was so fresh I wanted to share these with you. We are almost in spring!

I am so excited for this season in the garden. I have been board not being able to grow as much in the garden with the short windter days. The days are longer and with this unseasonably warm weather, I am going to start some seeds early this year. I have so many new things I would like to try in the garden this year.
