My mom bought some orchid bulbs a few months ago. I have never planted orchids before and was happy to take on the gardening task of planting them. The bulbs sprouted rapidly but for over a month showed nothing but green leaves sticking straight up towards the sky. Well, just the other evening I noticed an orchid flower finally showing form. I loudly shared the news with my mother and wife. They both applauded and carried on with their business. Here now here now, look at the first orchid flower in our garden. Such a beautiful sight!
