Among the flowers I love, is the Azalea flower. Known to be a very sensitive plant, it thrives in protected environments, and requires a lot of effort to maintain them.
I, being a weekend gardener, am mostly fond of plants which require no maintenance or intervention from my side. Call me lazy, but Azalea's were out for me, even though I simply adored the flowers.
Till I got a hold of some cross-breeds which I could 'just plant and forget'.
And I did just that a few years back in a section of my garden, and today, they are the primary object of admiration for me and my family. These are hybrids developed in a lab, and are hardy enough to flourish in our environment. But the one's I found the most hardy, was a hybrid which is a cross between the wild rhododendrons we get around here, and it just grows like it owns the place!
