Today I present a plant that has virtually invaded my garden: Polygala myrtifolia.
The polygala is a medium-small African-sized shrub, but it can also form a sapling of more than two meters. Its leaves are reminiscent of myrtle and from spring it produces a rich lilac pink blossom.
It is a plant very resistant to heat and drought.
Its name "polygala" of Greek origin means "so much milk" and for this reason small plants of polygala were indicated by popular medicine as they can increase milk if burned by cows
As I said in my garden there are a lot of polygala plants that grow from all parts: just little earth and little care to grow them
