Tonle Sap, the largest lake in Southeast Asia, has a vital importance for Cambodians because it is one of the most important ecological water reserves in the world.
The village known as Floating Village; this lake consists of floating houses, grocery stores, schools, temples and outposts. Most of the people who use their boats to go from one place to another are living with fishing.
Children learn to use these boats at a very young age and do many things like their father. Maybe in this village where most of them do not set foot on the land for a long time, people's life is very quiet and extremely simple. Thinking about the fact that these people live very hard, I had to leave their living space, their own reality with a 1-hour boat tour, which made me feel very strange.
The most special moment in my mind is; the smiles of the children who use a piece of wood as a bridge that doesn't look too good to go to school, especially the smiles in the eyes, the hands they send.
