(I trust doctor's scales more. This is from last month)
Hey there hive fam, I was sick earlier this year. I lost about 40 lbs. It took me a long time to get the weight back slowly. I am happy now with where I am, although I wouldn't mind adding a few more lbs.
The ideal physique IMO is one that u can easily move how u want it to and serves u the most functionally. I always picture Bruce Lee as the optimal amount of muscle for his size/frame.
I fall often.. usually, it's not too bad.. more of a stumble or lean, but it does help to have some extra fat / cushion, so I don't even mind if I get a little layer of fat to help soften those falls.
I went to the bank the other day and thought I'd easily make it to the ATM since it was only about 6 feet away.. I was wrong. even though there was a railing real close.. it was just out of reach. So, my brain told my legs NOT to bother moving and I leaned a bit too far trying to get to the railing.. as I breached my cone of balance I fell onto the hard parking lot ground, good thing there were no cars to hit.
It was more embarassing than anything. My knee did hurt some, but there were no cuts or bruising. If a fall like that had happened to me just a few months ago, it surely would've resulted in some injuries probably.
My aunt is very protective and was freaking out a little, but I argued that 'if u can't take a fall and are tough, then when u do fall one time, it will take u out..'
what do u guys think? do u agree with me or u think that she is right? she is always takes things real slow and cautious to NEVER get into any possible hurting situations.. or maybe it's just with me.. she thinks i am made of glass and can't even walk at all.. :P
