Last week I listed some musical people I've met on Steemit and I'll keep that theme going today.
runs a site for musicians to promote their music. Perhaps it will integrate with Steemit some day so they can be earning Steem.
is a musician from Scotland who is doing the Open Mic too.
is a guitarist from Argentina posting lots of stuff about how he makes music. His brother is
who sponsored the songwriter contest.
is trying to organise some musical collaboration amongst Steemians. I've done some of this before. The internet makes it easy to share audio files around the world so you can have a virtual band.
is posting some covers where he plays guitar and bass, so he lives up to his name. He has the same guitar effects unit as me.
Talking of guitar effects, I just customised mine with some pedal toppers from Mooer. These make the switches a little kinder on the feet when you don't have shoes on. I mainly use mine at home. They didn't fit so well on the Zoom unit, but I hope they will stay on for now. I tried warming them in some water to see if they got softer, but they are a tight fit.
There's a fun Steemit meetup in London next week. Unfortunately I cannot make it, but I hope there will be others. I've met lots of Steemians and they are great people to hang out with.

- 1st February: Syncherts is a networking group who meet in Stevenage each month. There are great talks and the conversations over the free beer and pizza are always fun.
- 2nd February: Arlesey open mic. This is why I can't get to the London event. I'll be playing some of my songs and accompanying others.
- 24th February: I'm going to a guitar show in Birmingham with my friend
. We'll be getting into New Street around 10:00 if anyone wants to meet for a coffee.
I'll try to get to other events when I can. I think this could be the year when Steemit really takes off and we can all help that happen.
