Once upon a time there was a social site called Tsu. A lot of people got very excited as it promised to pay you for using it. Some people made a lot of money there and there was a great community. The site had a lot of verified charity accounts and users organised all sorts of events to help them raise money. We had a lot of fun there.
But a year ago Tsu shut down. The owners struggled to make it cover their costs and their backers pulled out. It was shut down with little notice and a lot of people lost touch with their friends.
But then some of us found Steemit! This was similar to Tsu in some ways, but better in others. It doesn't depend on ads, it cannot easily be shut down and there's no central moderation to censor it. It's a bit like the wild west in that you can get attacked by those with more firepower, but it's generally friendly. I was making a few dollars a week on Tsu, but after a slow start I'm doing much better here. I think Steemit has the potential to change the world!
Now even more Tsuvians are becoming Steemians. Some are compiling lists to help them re-connect. I'll list some of those I know well.
has become a good friend since we met on Tsu. We've never met, but we chat a lot on Skype. She was lucky to attend a meetup last weekend with some top Steemians.

do great work with the needy in South Africa.
There are many others and some are using some of the tags below. Have a look around and I'm sure you will find more cool people to follow who will fill your feed with goodness.
Steemit is the new Tsu (sort of).
I'll buy guitar picks for Steem Dollars
