Hey all. What do you get when you have
A skillet, salami, eggs and a plate. Something new and delicious.
First of all, what I am missing. A whisk, a bowl, a strainer, and everything to clean up afterwards.
What I have. Eggs, salami, cheese and a will to invent!
Normal Omelet
I usually just boil, strain and saute spinach in butter. Then I whisk the eggs to make them fluffy, make a fluffy egg pancake, flip it and add cheese, spinach and possibly onion and mushrooms.
What I did today, due to the missing necessities was...
Cook the frozen spinach in butter, add salami (fried salami is awesome - has been used on burgers), and put aside. Rinse and butter the skillet.
Cracked 5 eggs on the hot skillet, as if it might be possible to flip 5 at one time. I don't have a picture of the eggs in process because I have never successfully flipped that many at once. Here's is what I was shooting for - you be the judge.
I didn't try to make this into a post until I saw it done. I was able to do 5 over easy eggs, added the spinach, salami, and cheese. Yes. It looks strange but the eating part was oh, so delicious!
Keep having a good weekend, and if your kitchen is in a moving van, try this recipe!
