While out and about on our first day's stay in Sarasota, Siesta Key Florida, grabbing something quick and easy to eat was what we were looking for. After a ten minute walk from where we were staying we came upon a Subway, perfect. Well that is what we thought until we saw the establishment that was attached to the Subway shop.
Now I've got a pretty strong stomach, but after sticking my head in the door to see exactly what Bodies Human was all about, I was no longer hungry.
A glimpse of a deformed body lying in a tank of formaldehyde put lunch off for several hours.
I just wondered what business was the first to occupy one of the only two buildings in this little strip of commercial real-estate.
If Subway rented after Bodies Human was already up and running, someone from subway needs to have a check up from the neck up.
If the opposite was how it went down, I'm sure the Subway franchise owner couldn't have been too happy with the neighbor who just moved in.
It will be interesting to see if this Subway shop is still around next year, I kind of doubt it.
After a few hours of trying to forget the grotesque body bathing in preservative, we were all ready to chow down.
We ended up at the Surf Shack Coastal Kitchen.
The girls had a bowl of lobster bisque soup and a lobster taco.

I decided to get the grouper tacos. After devouring the three tacos in front of me, I could get on with our adventure.
A couple of Stella Drafts went perfect with our meal and everything was good.
You know I should have listened to when she suggested that I not stick my head in the door. Curiosity didn't kill the cat, but it sure did kill my appetite.
Having missed last weeks #fff, I just want to make sure the boys leading the charge into the kitchen know how I feel about their efforts. I dig your act ,

Have a great weekend guys.
