Hello, my dear Hivers! It’s me Doughnahhh, back with another blog series, so today I am inviting you all to come along with us on our little adventure, I am together with my boyfriend at this moment, so join us as we head out and let's see where this trip will take us and the moments that we will capture and the memories that we will make along the way. So let’s go and let's explore with us!
I was so stressed last week that I couldn’t stop thinking about taking a break just in a while, so I told my boyfriend that I really wanted to unwind and clear my mind even just for a while, and I mentioned to him that I wanted to go to Capelinha and that for me it is the perfect place to relax my mind, breathe, and escape from all that is stressing me and the busyness of what I've been doing to strive.
So, my boyfriend agreed that we would go to Capelinha and that he would accompany me. We were already on our way there when I started feeling hungry, so I told him that we should eat first and find somewhere to grab a bite.
So, we ended up going to one of our favorite spots to eatttt. This small food place is abundant with foods that you'll surely crave also. It is located right in front of the shrine in Bogo. I love it there because they offer such a wide variety of street food you name it, they probably have it! over hahaha. But kidding aside they really serve chicken platter, crispy fried chicken, kwek-kwek (those delicious orange that coated quail eggs), tempura, hotdogs, boiled eggs, balut and many more. There is so much food to choose from, which is why we decided to stop and choose here to eat. With so many tasty food options, it was so hard to choose just one huhu.
Because I was so very hungry at that time, I couldn’t help myself so I immediately attacked their pastel, even though they weren’t even finished setting up some of their display yet, but before I attacked it I politely asked Ate the owner if I could have it first, and thankfully, she said yes, and my boyfriend also mentioned he wanted some chicken, so I got one too for us because I wanted to pair it with my pastel also. After everything, we didn’t waste any time we just started eating right away hehe. That shows how hungry we were because we practically attacked the food immediately.
After we were done attacking the pastel and the chicken, we didn’t stop there we also went in for another set of kwek-kwek, tempura and hotdog hehe. That’s just how hungry we are because even though we are done eating we are still ready for more food hehe.
Following another heavy portion of tempura, kwek-kwek, and those expertly fried hotdogs, we get ready for the last course of our street food, which is the very well known balut and the penoy egg. It's like an unli eating adventure for me and my boyfriend at the time, hehe.
After we’ve enjoyed our meal together, we will proceed to the highlight of our journey the Capelinha de Fátima in San Remegio. This sacred place holds deep spiritual significance, and we look forward to spending meaningful time there in reflection and prayer.
On our way to the Capelinha de Fátima in San Remegio, we’ll be treated to some truly beautiful views along the route. The scenic landscapes and peaceful surroundings will surely make the journey even more enjoyable and memorable.
That’s it for now my dear Hivers! I hope you enjoyed this part of our journey as much as I did sharing it with you all. But don’t worry this is just maybe the beginning but I’ll be continuing the story into my next blog series, where I’ll take you even more deeper into our experiences, discoveries and everything in between in the capelinha. So make sure to stay tuned into my next blog, follow along with me and don’t miss what’s coming next. See you in the next post!
