Hey all, I am Chris Doelle and while I have been blogging and podcasting since the inception of both but recently started here.
I am a Texas high school football fan and historian. I run the website Lone Star Gridiron and have for 18 years.

I live on five acres in Texas and try to be self-sustaining so you will likely see posts about gardening, canning, and all manner of self-sufficiency.
