Everton and Barcelona have reached an agreement for the transfer of French international, Lucas Digne to England.
The two clubs are reported to have agreed a fee in the region of £19.5 million which could rise to £22 million after bonuses.
Digne who turned 25 just last week saw limited action last season, making just 20 appearances as coach, Ernesto Valverde preferred Jordi Alba at left back which ultimately cos the youngster a place in France's squad to the World Cup.
The Lille OSC youth product who signed for Barcelona from Paris Saint Germain under former manager, Luis Enrique - who quit after the 2016/2017 season- flourished under the former manager but reverse has been the case under the new boss.
It is expected that the former PSG man would be replacing veteran left back, Leighton Baines who has spent over 10 years at Goodison Park.
The relationship between both clubs may yet be far from over as there are reports of ongoing negotiations for Colombian defender, Yerry Mina.
