Hey Football steemians, thank you for tuning in once more. Today I woud like to talk about football professionalism. A perfect example of it is Zinedine Zidane and his son Enzo Zidane
Imagine having to take the decision to sell your own son from a World class club to an impressively smaller Club.
Now even though selling your own son sounds terrible, I believe it is actually an amazing idea, here's why:
First, Enzo Zidane's position is well covered in Madrid. Think about it. Isco, James, Modric, Kovacic, Kroos, Asensio, Vasquez, Bale. Imagine how hard it would be for Enzo to start a game in that squad?
Second, what would happen if Zidane would line up Enzo instead of big names like James or Isco, and even though he might deserve to start at that moment because of his form or recent performances, the father and son factor will always be key.
Thirdly, besides this move helping him evolve better as a player or avoid the "father and son preference" factor, it will also help him become a profesional player on his own. He will be able to prove that he's got what it takes without his dad's help.
What are your thoughts? What would you have done?
