Chris Jepson, 71, lifetime Wolverhampton Wanderers fan who has spent approximately 500 hours of his life into making a stunning work of art to celebrate his footballing love. Christ made his immersive scale model of Molineux in 18 months mostly of lollipop sticks and matchsticks. Speaking to the Express & Star he revealed:
I always loved the old Wolves stadium. It fascinated me – it was unique.
All the really good times happened then – championships, cup wins, European matches under new floodlights and atmospheres beyond belief.
I’m quite proud of [the model]. People that have seen it think it’s wonderful.
