62-year-old Argentinian super coach Marcelo Bielsa officially signed two-year contact with Leeds United. Sucessor the likes of Darko Malinic, Garry Monk and Paul Heckingbottom, all unable to pur real impact of club’s progress, Bielsa seems a very promising and ambitious capture for the Whites as he already make a record as the highest paid manager in club’s 99-year history. Ex-Argentina manager is held in respect among his colleagues, including Josep Guardiola and Mauricio Pochettino. The later even called Marcelo his ‘football father’.
- Bielsa won 2004 Olympic gold and 2004 Copa America as Argentina national team manager
- His latest managerial spells at the clubs like Marseille, Lazio and Lille, mildly speaking, wasn’t quite successful
