After recent elimination of Spain by rock solid Russian side, there are no players left among the participants who reached World Cup finals before. Earlier 2014 World Cup finalists from Germany and Argentina also left the tournament: defending champions took the last place in their group while South American side been kicked out by super-confident France at the first knockout stage.
