Dynamo Kyiv did well to steal away victory at Roazhon Park, beating Rennes 2:1 In Europa League group stage clash. Ukrainian side came up as slight favorites in the game as the club with bigger experience at European Cups and, generally, side delivered their class, but certainly not without exceptions.
Indeed, the opening goal of the fixture occurred in the middle of the first half as visitors continuously pushed forward one attack after another until they succeed. Winger Vitaliy Buyalskiy found his way up on the left flank to supply his teammate Denys Harmash with a precise low cross. But somehow Dynamo Kiev veteran midfielder failed pick up the pass and completely miss the ball instead. After the eye-wink of uncertainty it was Dynamo full-ball Tomasz Kedziora who made a decision to set everything right with a thunderous pile-driver...
Top class screamer by Polish defender and his second goal of the 2018/19 season.
Missed by Hamas wasn’t the only blunder along the game. Rennes scored an equalizer after a questionable performance by Ukrainian keeper Denis Boyko, who allowed the deflected ball to slip under his arm. And the winning goal was netted by courtesy of Rennes goalkeeper Abdoulaye Diallo, who literally let the draw slip through his fingers after the audacious lob by Dynamo winger Vitaliy Buyalskyi.
Still, it was well deserved 2:1 for Dynamo Kyiv who simply put a better effort to get their 3 points.
